History

I created Chatter Magazine seven years ago with three of my friends. It all started when my friend Renee had a skiing accident and was hospitalized for a long time. Me and two of my other friends, Sarah and Abby, visited Renee in the hospital often, but she said that there were long stretches of time with nothing to do. When she was released, we decided that we wanted to do something to help other patients in the hospital avoid boredom. The result was Chatter. We decided to include all different kinds of activities, in the hopes that any kid would find something enjoyable inside. What started as some games made by four seventh graders turned into something truly amazing. Over the years the magazine has evolved and progressed into something that I am extremely proud of. None of us could have guessed that Chatter could have gone so far, and for so long. I’m very honored to be a part of this, and I hope that the future holds even more wonderful experiences.
