Welcome! I’m Elyssa, and thanks for visiting. Here’s a little bit about me, to give you a glimpse into my life. My hope is that this site and the magazine itself will have a very personal feel, so read away! And I welcome any questions you may have. Just post them below!

I’m 19 years old, and an international business management student at the University at Buffalo. Raised in Fairport NY, I live at home in the summers with my parents and my brother Eric. As much as I love my family and my hometown, I was very excited to embark on a new adventure by moving away to college. My freshman year gave me the chance to meet a lot of great friends and discover some of my passions. I’m getting ready to go back for my sophomore year, which will bring a lot of new experiences. I will be a TA for a service learning course, working toward my Spanish minor, beginning a course in sign language, and of course working on Chatter.

I am an avid coffee drinker, preferably iced coffee but I love it in any form. Summer is my favorite season, because I love being outside and I hate to be cold. My favorite animal is the elephant, partially because I would receive stuffed elephants as a child because my name unconventionally starts with an E instead of an A. I love spending time with friends and trying new things, but I also appreciate quiet days at home just reading or watching TV. My dream is to travel as much as possible and learn about different cultures. I love all things relating to Harry Potter and Disney.
